Professor Xie is recipient of numerous awards including First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award from Ministry of Education, Third Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award from Ministry of Water Resources and Third prize of National hydrological forecasting technology competition from Ministry of Water Resources.
