The project “the Key technology of building structure in hydropower station with giant hydroelectric generating set” won a second class prize of State Science and Technology Advancement Award in 2013, and the project “Design theory study and application of penstock and spiral case in large hydropower station” obtained a first class prize of Science and Technology Advancement Award of Hubei province in 2007. Another 4 projects were given the awards of provincial and ministerial prize in the second or third class.
