       Prof.Dianqing Li ,is the vice president of Wuhan university of water resources and hydropower and the vice director of key laboratory of rock mechanics hydraulic of the Ministry of Education. He is a member of editorial board of  International Journal of Computers and Geotechnics (SCI Source Journals) "Soils and Foundations" (SCI Source Journals) "Georisk""ASCE Journal of Risk and Uncertainty in Engineering Systems" and "application-based Science and Engineering" .He is also the vice president of risk and insurance research branch of the China civil engineering society , a member of ,American civil engineers society ASCE Geotechnical Engineering risk assessment and management committee, a director of TC302 and TC304 technical committees of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering and so on .
His main research directions are for the water conservancy and hydropower geotechnical engineering reliability and risk control theory, high dam system of risk assessment and safety control.
