      Prof.Guangming Tan , is vice director of Sediment Professional Committee and Water ecology Professional Committee of Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society. He is also acted as vice president of Hydraulic Engineering Society of Hubei Province and China Association of Hydraulic Engineering Education.
      He has mainly engaged in water and sediment science, teaching and research for areas of river-governing, flood-controlling and Port channel. He has intensive studies of circulation structure in the river, sediment-laden flow turbulence structure, hyperconcentrated flows, rivers simulation technology, management and other aspects of rivers.
