Prof. Qian born in 1976 obtained a Ph. D. degree in engineering in 2002 at Northeastern Univ. China, majoring in thermal engineering and the post-doctor in 2004 at Tsinghua Univ. China. He was promoted the associate professor in June, 2004 and was appointed as full professor in 2009. As a visiting scholar, he visited Korea Maritime and Ocean University from 2008/01 to 2008/06. He is the deputy director of the Department of Agricultural Resources Engineering, Wuhan Univ., and the vice president of the Wuhan University Youth Federation, and the director of the Institute of Operation Safety and Control of Hydropower Station. He also serves as a member of All-China Youth Federation, member of the CPPCC Hubei provincial committee and member of population, resource and environment committee of Hubei provincial CPPCC.
