      Prof.Weixin Huai ,is a member of Ministry of Education universities mechanics Basic Course Teaching Guidance Committee, a vice director of Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society  ecohydraulics group, a executive editor of "Journal of Hydrodynamics" and a member of editor board of  "Hydraulic Engineering" and so on . He has been granted Youth Science and Technology Award in Hubei Province ,  the Huo yingdong Youth Teacher Award by Ministry of Education, Baogang Excellent Teacher Award, the national outstanding young expert,  "Luojia Scholar" distinguished professors of Wuhan university , "Luojia distinguished scholar" and other honors.
      His main research directions are for the hydraulics, environmental hydraulics, hydraulics calculation.
